Yesterdays plan of finishing up and bisquing today hit a glitch when I was hit with sudden onset of a really bad headache and flu like symptoms of chills and exhaustion. So I moved the last drying plate indoors and got it covered and gave up for the day, came in and headed for bed for a couple of hours. I wasn't in any shape to cook, so Jim went to a local restaurant and got us some takeout.
I did manage to finish the other pots and get them in the kiln before I got hit with that bug, and if I don't feel any worse than I do this morning, I'll try to get that last plate trimmed and slipped and stick with paper work for the rest of the day.
You sound like me.. Sure hope you're feeling better.
ReplyDeleteThanks Anne. I felt better today; but took it easy and just did piddly studio things and made dinner. I'll take another big hand full of vitamins before bedtime and hopefully will be perkier tomorrow. I hope the same for you!
ReplyDeleteThis all sounded so familiar to me. Last Wednesday night, everybody in the family was put down with a 24 hour bug (probably the same exact one). Then, late Friday afternoon , as we were leaving Brevard, I noticed for the first time the sun was a warming spring sun at 5:00 in the afternoon. "We've got winter all but licked at this point," I thought. "Why are we leaving for Florida?".
