Some things hat's blooming in the garden
There's more blooming than room to post; but here are a couple of the clematis that are blooming and the first of the hollyhocks blooms.
Got a good day in the studio doing a lot of things on my "to do" list. Mixing slip and glaze test batches and dipping test tiles, sweeping and mopping the kiln room, studio, porch and mudroom, re-claiming clay in the mixer and having to take a chisel and hammer to some porcelain that was too hard to reclaim with the wet towel trick and too soft to slake. It was a donkey work day but felt good to get that much studio time.
I got to pull a few weeds in the garden and do a bit of hand watering and that was it for garden work today. Dinner was easy - leftovers. Now I'm going to watch one of my Netflix movies "The Blind Side" and relax for the evening.
