I love it and my page has sections for container gardening with links to a lot of other peoples ideas and hints.
Since I've been trying to get over this bug, I've been collecting a lot of info on Pinterest - everything from food and glaze recipes to gardening and pottery hints, etc. etc.
Those earth boxes although pricy work very well. I even bought another one this year. They're on rollers; but if you are handy and have the tools, you can built your own boxes and put rollers on them. You can mix veggies and flowers in containers. The pretty red sails leaf lettuce always looks pretty in a planter with some annuals in between. Also, I'm finding that it's a good idea to mix perennials and annuals in the planters to make life easier every spring. A couple of my planters have uprightt rosemary in the center and then trailing lobelia or other trailing annuals on the outside. The shorter Cosmos worked well in planters for me. I even have a small shrub in one of my larger planters which is doing great. It's so big now I don't think I'll be planting any lobelia around the border this year. Check out Pinterest for all kinds of gardening ideas and hints. It's really great! You can add directories on your home page and reference them as needed.
June Perryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13431678118459690271noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13789918.post-19569952008248923262014-03-17T08:10:46.689-04:002014-03-17T08:10:46.689-04:00Glad you are feeling better! We are trying containers this year so we can chase the sun on our very shay piece of land here. Just waiting for ice to quit falling from the skies!Tracey Broomehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14560971496423789576noreply@blogger.com
